Kaunas Artists’ House belongs to the Lithuanian cultural heritage, the restoration of which has been entrusted to our specialists. The artists’ house was built in 1930, according to the project of architect Vytautas Landsbergis-Žemkalnis. The interior is decorated with stained glass “Mūzos” by Vytautas Banis, depicting six muses of Greek mythology – the permanent companions of Apollo and the custodians of art. The foyer is decorated with the ceramic panel “Pėdsakas” by the artist Aldona Keturakienė.
During the restoration of the windows, the following work was carried out:
removal of windows from the building,
removal of the glass panes,
repair of the frame,
removal of the old paint,
sanding,
reconstruction of the missing wooden parts,
renewal of the metal elements,
fitting of new glass panes,
painting,
window installation.
