Restoration of heritage assets

Cultural heritage

CULTURAL HERITAGE ASSETS – CULTURALLY IMPORTANT OBJECTS OF A COUNTRY THAT PROVIDE AN CULTURAL ADDED VALUE.

They preserve the historical and cultural memory of a country and at the same time pass it on to future generations. For this reason, heritage asset restoration is not only a way to revive history and restore the long-forgotten face of the asset, but also to shape the future.

“Rumšiškių baldai” has been restoring cultural assets for many years, and our company “Medžio dizainas” has successfully entered this market as well. We are happy to protect lithuanian national heritage and have prominent clients among our customers – churches, monasteries, castles, mansions, old towns.

We can be proud of our contributions to the restoration works of one of the best masterpieces of mature Baroque architecture in Northeast Europe – the Pažaislis church and monastery ensemble as well as the Presidential Palace of Lithuania, the Vilnius University and lithuanian old towns. The trust that our customers place in us encourages us to improve and deepen our knowledge and skills.

We carry out restoration work of monuments and parts of a building that belong to cultural heritage: upholstered furniture, wooden furniture, windows, shutters, gates, doors and other objects. Professionals assess the state of the cultural asset and identify the most appropriate restoration techniques to restore and preserve the original appearance of the asset as best as possible.

DURING THE RESTORATION PROCESS WE ONLY USE THE HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS.

Improperly selected materials or techniques can lead to a faster wear and tear of a monument, which is why our specialists are constantly improving their skills and deepening their technological knowledge.

By investing in restoration of cultural assets, we not only contribute to preservation of history but environment too. The restoration of heritage assets are environmentally friendly and at the same time particularly beneficial for the circular economy. Together we contribute responsible consumption.
